THE
HIRER
These
Terms and Conditions are a statuary part of the ‘DJ GEAR
HIRE AGREEMENT’ and the Hirer legally enters into this hire
agreement on their-own behalf.
The
Hirer shall only use the said equipment for its intended
purpose and in a right and proper manner.
The
Hirer undertakes the responsibility of hiring the correct
equipment.
The
Hirer must have adequate insurance to cover any cost
replacing lost or damaged equipment.
The Hire period is on-going as stated in the hire agreement.
The
Hirer shall not take the equipment outside the UK under any
circumstances whatsoever.
The Hirer
undertakes full responsibility for the
security and safe keeping
of the hire
equipment, and accepts full responsibility for the loss or
damage of said equipment, howsoever caused.
The
Hirer agrees not to tamper with and or modify, or allow any
third party to tamper and or modify the workings of the
equipment in any way whatsoever. Any damage caused as a
result of such action will be charged to the Hirer by the
Company.
If the
equipment is lost by any means whatsoever or damaged beyond
repair. The Hirer will pay the Company the current retail
price to replace the said equipment, plus the daily hire
rate of the said equipment charged from the hire date to the
date of the equipment being replaced.
THE
COMPANY
Although the hire equipment is maintained to
the highest standard. The Company accepts no
responsibility whatsoever for any malfunction/s or
breakdown/s of the said hire equipment, although we offer a
like-for-like replacement during our opening hours.
The Company
accepts no responsibility
for any
damage caused to equipment not supplied by the Company by
the Hirer and/or their employees or agents connecting such
equipment to the Equipment supplied by the Company and/or a
third party appointed by the Company.
Nor
accepts responsibility of any loss financial or otherwise
All
leads are supplied coiled and in good working order and
should be returned in the same condition. Any missing and/or
damaged connectors will be charged at a rate of £5.00 plus
the cost of the connector.
All
lighting is supplies with working lamp/s. Lamps blown or
damages during the hire are chargeable at the current retail
price.
Single
lamp lighting FX are supplied with a spare lamp, that will
be charged for if the lamp is used and or not returned.
CANCELLATION
The
Hirer shall give The Company a minimum of one months notice
of cancellation of a long-term agreement.
If the hire agreement is cancelled or not
entered into by the Hirer for any reason whatsoever, the
Hirer will lose the deposit.
OWNERSHIP
The said hire equipment remains the property of the Company,
‘DJ GEAR HIRE’ at all times.
These terms
and conditions shall determine forthwith without prejudice
to any antecedent claim to the Company and/or the hire
equipment forthwith be repossessed by the Company in any one
or more of the following events: (a) the commission of the
Hirer of an act of bankruptcy or his entry into any
agreement with his general body of creditors. (b) The breach
by the Hirer of any of the stipulations herein contained and
on their part to be observed and performed.
